Lauryn and Jeremy’s Wedding – Fraser, MI

Lauryn and Jeremy’s Wedding – Fraser, MI

Lauryn and Jeremy were so delightful during their engagement photos in Lake Orion, it made me even more excited for their wedding day as it was another chance to capture beautiful photographs. Anyways, that day finally came for them! We were fortune enough to avoid the rain when we were outside, it poured during the ceremony but luckily for us we were indoors so it all worked out! The day was packed with excellent locations to work with. Please enjoy and wish the two of them best wishes in the comments!

Lauryn and Jeremy’s Engagement Session – Lake Orion, MI

Engagement Photo - Lake Orion

It was a pleasure working with these two in Lake Orion as we captured their engagement photos earlier this summer. Although I have not posted any wedding or engagement photos here recently, I thought I better start. It was a delight working with them! The natural light that night was so enjoyable too. I am excited for them tie the knot this weekend and honored they asked me to photographer their special day. Wishing them the best this weekend and their life ahead!

Archdiocese of Detroit – Transitional Diaconate Ordination 2022

Archdiocese of Detroit – Transitional Diaconate Ordination 2022

Back in April I was able to work with the Archdiocese of Detroit and Sacred Heart Seminary once again to capture the ordination to the diaconate. Now this is not a wedding, but I do approach it very similarly as there is a ceremony with very key moments just like we see in weddings.

This year, there was six men. I had previously photographed this event in years before, including in 2016. It was a beautiful event and I enjoyed the opportunity again. I was glad for the wonderful weather we had that day, as it made for some nice lighting indoors. It was a great time working with everyone and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Sacred Heart Major Seminary – Diaconate Ordination

Sacred Heart Major Seminary – Diaconate Ordination

Recently, I was able to work with the Archdiocese of Detroit and their seminary, Sacred Heart Major Seminary, to photograph the Transitional Diaconate Ordination. I approached the day similar to a wedding and it was a great opportunity to be able to photograph in a place with such beautiful architecture. It was an honor to be able to capture such an important day for these men. Here are some of the images from the day. Enjoy!

Portraits at George George Park – Clinton Twp, MI

Portraits, Macomb, Detroit, Family

Recently, I was able to get out and shoot some portraits of an energetic young one! We all had a blast, even the parents as the assistant. The location we decided on was George George Park in Clinton Township, MI. The light was beautiful during the golden hour and so glad we were able to capture it. If you were to go to George George Park on a weekend during the wedding season, you’re likely to see multiple wedding parties taking pictures. Fortunately for us we were there on a week night and just enjoyed the park! Here are some of the images from the session. Enjoy!

Kaitlin & Tim’s Wedding – Detroit, MI

Wedding Photography: Detroit

I was blessed to be able to spend a day with Kaitlin and Tim as they celebrated their wedding with family and friends in Detroit. A few weeks ago they were married in Alaska and wanted to celebrate with everyone here. The celebration Mass was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church in downtown Detroit. The reception followed at Divine Providence Lithuanian Cultural Center in Southfield. Here are some photos from the night. Enjoy!
