Back in April I was able to work with the Archdiocese of Detroit and Sacred Heart Seminary once again to capture the ordination to the diaconate. Now this is not a wedding, but I do approach it very similarly as there is a ceremony with very key moments just like we see in weddings.
This year, there was six men. I had previously photographed this event in years before, including in 2016. It was a beautiful event and I enjoyed the opportunity again. I was glad for the wonderful weather we had that day, as it made for some nice lighting indoors. It was a great time working with everyone and hope you enjoy the pictures.
You can see some of these pictures and more at Detroit Catholic.
