Megan and Aaron’s Evening Engagement Photos at Kensington Metropark in Milford, MI

Megan and Aaron are getting married this Fall, and can’t wait to capture their special day! That day will have to wait, but fortunately we recently came together to capture their engagement photos. We met up at Kensington Metropark, a beautiful park located in Milford, Michigan. The park has a variety of different settings, from rolling hills and forests to open fields and lakes. This made it the perfect place to capture Megan and Aaron’s engagement session in the evening.

We started our shoot in the late afternoon, when the sun was starting to set. The light was soft and warm, creating a perfect end to our day. We took some photos by the pond, where the cranes were looking for their dinner. We also took some photos in the woods, where the trees were casting long shadows.

The golden hour is a great time to photograph engagement photos because the light is so beautiful. The sun is low in the sky, which creates soft, diffused light. Megan and Aaron were naturals which only helped the photos!

We finished our shoot just as the sun was setting. The sky was ablaze with color, and the light was magical. We took some photos of Megan and Aaron standing at the dock with the setting sun behind them. The photos were stunning, and they perfectly captured the beauty of their love.
